 Drummer and drum builder Steve Crabtree was born & raised on the south-side of Chicago's Morgan Park / Beverly area & began drumming in 1963. His love for drums & the necessity to create an affordable great looking & sounding drum led him to begin the Beat Boogie Quality Custom Drum Company.
